HISTORY

McDermott Real Estate, Inc. was established by John McDermott in 1953 (in 2003 we celebrated our 50th Anniversary). The office is located in Glenside PA, just south of The Keswick Theatre. McDermott Real Estate is an independent, full-service Real Estate firm specializing in residential sales and property management.

After steady growth of the business, John McDermott passed away in 1994. Not too long thereafter, his daughter, Mary Beth Mc Dermott, became Broker of Record. Ms. McDermott has been in the real estate industry since 1986 and adheres to the same value system her father instilled in her over the years: personal service, integrity and a genuine love for the business.

Having been licensed since 1986, and with years of experience in Pennsylvania Real Estate, Ms. McDermott is uniquely poised to handle all of your real estate needs.

AFFILIATIONS:

• President, Montgomery County Association of Realtors 2006.
• Board of Directors for Montgomery County Association of Realtors since 2000.
• Treasurer of  Montgomery County Assoc for 2004.
• President Elect 2005 and President of Montogomery County Board 2006.
• State Director Pennsylvania Assocation of Realtors in Harrisburg since 2003. This involves attending quarterly business meetings in Harrisburg and voting on legislative issues that effect the Real Estate industry.
